Aerial Yoga is a combination of traditional yoga floor poses and postures done on a hammock suspected at waist height. Aerial yoga has particular benefits for strengthening and stretching the whole body, decompressing the spine, improving circulation, boosting digestion and lifting one's mood. Inversions are accessed easily and gravity eases us into optimal alignment with little effort. Hanging on the hammock builds upper body and core strength, and resting in the postures promotes relaxation and deep rejuvenation.

Aerial Therapy is the gentle, meditative, slow stretching and rehabilitative version of Aerial Yoga. This approach is perfect for those with a lower fitness level. This powerful method focuses the mind through powerful visualisations as it floats the body through a series of gentle gyro-kinetic motions, deeply opening the entire spine, hips, and connective tissues of the body. This technique features full body inversions, alongside various forms of flowing spinal traction. It offers accessibility to students with physical limitations, but is loved by all as a portal into deeper spinal flexibility, and mind/body connection. Working from different hammock heights allows for the gentle opening of hips and spine.
